4. Joovy Twin Roo+
The Twin Roo+ is a minimalist frame stroller that offers car seat compatibility. It also has a large storage container. stroller 2in1 is one of the lightest double strollers on the market. It weighs just 24 pounds. without infant car seat attachments. This is quite light for a double stroller. It is a bit heavier than the UPPAbaby Vista v2 Double and the Thule Urban Glide 2 Double.
The Roo+ is simple to use and comes with a handy quick-start guide. It snaps together quickly and takes less than 10 minutes to become road-ready. It does not have a canopy built-in, so you will have to bring your own sunshades to your children if they require extra protection from the elements.
During our testing during our testing, we found the Roo+ to maneuver well for a stroller that doubles as a stroller. It's able to navigate most types of terrain with ease, however it has trouble going over gravel and grassy areas. It can also be difficult to steer up and over 1-inch curbs. We don't recommend using this stroller off the road or on stairs, but it does offer excellent suspension to limit bumps for the passengers.
While the Roo+ has a large under-seat storage compartment however, it's hard to access without removing infant car seats. This is a common problem with twin frame strollers. However, Joovy does offer a separate under-seat baby carrier bag to help address this issue.
In contrast to top-scoring strollers the Roo+ doesn't have a self-standing fold or cup holders. It's a small price to pay for the car seat compatibility and storage but we would prefer an option with more flexibility. Its flexibility in seating configuration is a plus, though it allows parents to place their infant car seats facing in opposite directions or in the same direction, to better suit their needs.
